We’re free – finally free!!!

At work, our managers finally got rid of a couple of employees who weren’t quite pulling their weight – one of them far more than the other. One of them I am really quite neutral about – just couldn’t perform the full duties that we are all expected to be able to carry out, but there may be good reasons for that – take care.

As for THE OTHER ONE – DING, DONG, the DITZ is DEAD!!! Good grief, ya know we tried, but couldn’t get things through that rather thick skull. Talked to her, sent out cautionary emails, on top of whatever our manager said – NADA! SQUAT!! ZILCH!!! – OK – maybe a little, but FAR TOO LATE. Only person I know in 30 months at this job to give a bonus on another bonus – DOH!!!

PHEW!!

UPDATE – 31 August 05: Back on 15 July, we bid good riddance to 2 more valuable co-workers. One I get along with quite well, though the same could not be said by others, apparently – too bad. The other, though pleasant enough, was not well suited to the technical skills needed to do our job smoothly.
