YOU CAN’T HANDLE the TAB(S)!!!

Thursday, 5 July 2007

Sort of a follow-up to the previous rant on my beloved IE7.

Seems to me that, despite the introduction of tabbed browsing capability in IE7, it hasn’t been handled too well, at least when running Vista (again, tabbed browsing in IE7 under XP is far better, as I can open more than 6 tabs without a crash, at least 19 of 20 times – so far, at least, in my experience).

Pretty lame, boys – Firefox still whips your asses in that (and many other) areas – customising, namely – appearance, functions (FoxyTunes, baby, YEAH!!!).

Stick to spreadsheets, maybe.

FEH!

Intarweb Excrement 7

What a steaming pile of a web browser!

The Vista Version, at least.

After using IE7 in Vista at a friend’s house for the last few days, methinks M$ didn’t get this one quite right. After all, I’ve used IE7 under XP Pro and Home with nary a problem – no crashes that I can remember – certainly nothing nearly as regular as under Vista. I guess access to Teh Intarweb, and smoothly running video, weren’t priorities in the 5-odd years it took to get the latest and memory-hoggin’est Windows out.

Lemme guess – Service Packs will address this? BWAAAAAAAAAAA-HAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!11!

Now I’m glad I didn’t bother to run more than the 30-day trial of this utter SHITE-pile of an operating(!) system.

Bill, it’s nice that you’ve got all these charitable activities going, but how about kicking coder ass until they GET IT RIGHT??!!!!11???

SHEEEEEEEESH!

(Finally, a non-Canucks rant – fear not – next wave starts in October!)
